I have had various athletes and self-coached athletes reach out to me asking for more resources on program design.
Program design is an extremely complicated thing, so rather than trying to break down my means & methods, I decided to screen record myself going through the process of programming a sample week for an individual and another week for a group of athletes.
This it not my attempt at teaching you how to write effective programs, it is simply an opportunity for you to watch someone else’s work flow and pick up some tips and tricks that you found interesting or useful.
Please let me know if you found this helpful, so I can know if I should do more videos like this in the future.
Enjoy!
Individual Design Sample
While this is the basic workflow I follow for my remote athletes, I will provide more details, notes and cues left for them as unique individuals. After all, that’s the entire point of remote coaching.
Feel free to contact me at ben@zoarfitness.com with any questions.

For the sake of time, I left out some details on warm-ups, coach’s notes, etc. Plus, I always make sure to proofread before publishing because typos are a common occurrence working in spreadsheets.
